The Vice Chancellor of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Professor G.O Olatunji has commended the students' union government and students populace of the institution describing the support he has received as 'tremendous '.
Professor Olatunji, the University's Vice Chancellor made this remarks during his Press Conference with Campus Reporters last Wednesday.
In his words, "I have been so impressed about the calibre of students we have, the last set of students' Union officials were very brilliant chaps not in terms of academics because I don't know their CGPA but in terms of their social relationship plus their engagement with us, they've been so wonderful and the current set of Students' Union leadership have been engaging us in robust and constructive discussions and that's very encouraging".
Furthermore, he spoke about the school finances and how the government has helped the institution greatly .
"some few months back the state government was kind enough to give us an increase of 50 percent in our sub ventures and that has assisted us tremendously", he said.
Meanwhile, he also revealed that the school management is trying its best to make the institution conducive and comfortable for its students.
