The SUG Social Director, Comrade Ogunbona Temiloluwa (Gbera) announced to students of Olabisi Onabanjo University to prepare for a night of entertainment filled with humor and wonderful moments in the SUG Freshers' Night and Welcome back party scheduled to hold on the 30th of March 2018 at HKG Lounge (former Miami) along Mariam road.
It is an unarguable fact that students needs to be socially oriented and prepared towards the social rigours of Campus life.
More so, OOUites are aware that the Students' Union Government is greatly concerned about the healthiness of students in all ramifications. It is in this direction that the SUG Social Committee made a wise conclusion to rejuvenize and socially orientate fresh students in the University.
The Social Director, while Speaking to Campus Mirror last week explained that the Freshers' Night would help usher student into the University socially and give them wonderful moments to remember throughtout their stay on Campus. "It's an event organized by the SUG to help welcome the students to the University Environment and also creates an avenue for students to make new friends and mingle with one another" "It's going to be a turn up filled with massive entertainment, rap battles, dance competition and fun" "I'm sure it would be a night they won't remember to forget", Gbera said. She further disclosed that the presence of different student artists, comedians and a guest artiste whose name is yet to be revealed would grace the event.
"I would enjoin Students to turn up, come in their vests, look good and be punctual so as to secure a good seat. Also they should pay their N200 for the ticket to avoid embarrassment", She added.
