My Lockdown Experience by Teniola Bola-Ogunyemi

We bring to you different reactions and insightful stories majored in the lives of Students during the Covid-19 Lockdown and the ASUU Strike Break.

My Covid-19 experience was quite eventful. I started with downloading old movies such as Lord of the Rings franchise, Harry Potter, Fast and Furious and others. I watched all of then, after a while, I got tired and began a sleep therapy. Then, I decided to get busy and at that time, the lockdown was eased.

I started teaching some Secondary School kids English language alone. I was paid 6,000 naira every week for 3 students in a week. I did the job for over 3 months, then I got tired. I returned to school, Sagamu in the last days of June and stayed till July ending. It was the most memorable part of the lockdown cause I had friends and everyone around me.
