Amidst the plight of the rampaging pandemic, Coronavirus, Olabisi Onabanjo University conducted a generic and virtual POST UTME.
In order to attenuate the wide spread of the virus, OOU brushed up into new development. Although, prior to the COVID19 pandemic, POST UTME has turned over a new leaf since 2013 which was the year believed that Olabisi Onabanjo University began to use the Information Technology Communication (ICT) center as a technological means to conducting the POST UNITARY Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
On the 8th-11th of December, 2020, Post utme mock test was scheduled to be held but was later postponed alongside the main examination date which ought to be held from the 16th-18th of December, 2020.
However, the Mock examination later took place on the 28th-30th of December, 2020 and after a week interval, the main Post UTME was held from the 10th-17th of January,2021.
It is beyond the shadow of doubt that during the Virtual Examination, they will be challenges even if it was as a little sip of hot tea.

While conversing with some Aspirants, they lamented on how their Network connecting server was fluctuating, some said they couldn't access their portal at all; perhaps, those who were assigned to log into their portal did that the wrong time which caused a congestion in the network services.
On the other hand, the storyline took a different phase while in a conversation with Fatimah, who was an aspirant and has now been admitted she said "I would say the examination was good and the problem others faced was due to the type of system or device they use. When I went to do mine, the server at the Cyber cafe was bad and I blamed the school for it which is bad, so later I was rescheduled and I understand that I didn't follow the rules given that's why I had problem at first".
She gives a comprehensive details on how the school management urged them to conduct their virtual examination. She said "The school told us to use a 10.0 computer server while some didn't do that and we were told to do the examination in a quite place but some did it in a crowdy cafe. So the school is not to be blamed for all the issues".
The unavailability of aspirants to access the examination properly was believed to erupt the massive failure.
On 22nd of January, 2021, the POST UTME result was released. Some Aspirants received it with joy full their faces while some received it otherwise.
It got to our notice, that some of the aspirants did not sit for their examination at the right day and time and yet, they are holding the school culpable for their failure.
The Examination was programmed and the school management believed that it is what you choose as your answer in the Examination that will be marked either correctly of incorrectly.
In conclusion, the Examination had shown the loopholes in the programming system of the school and we urge all aspirants to assiduously read their books in order to tackle other issues that they may face after getting admitted into the institution.
