On the 25th November, 2021, the OOUSUG Students' House of Senate published the impeachment memorandum of Adegunwa Marvellous, popularly known as Senator Marvie, the OOUSUG General Secretary '21.
She was alleged by the SHS of being guilty of three earmarked defaults which are; "Abuse on constituted authority, Defamation of Character and Refusal to report for Summon on the floor of the house."
Afterwards, the Students House of Senate demanded the assistant General Secretary 1, Elizabeth Afolayan, known as Monnylizzy to assume the Office of the declared impeached General Secretary, hitherto.
These executions seem vague and ambiguous as their premises couldn't have easily adjudged the impeachment of the GenSecretary. Campus Mirror sort to hold an interview with the SRC of the Students House of Senate, the SUG President, the Asst General Secretary and others which was futile as the aforementioned personalities weren't forthcoming and they hinged on excuses.
In the evening, Friday, 27th November, 2021, the OOUSUG Central Executive Council, released a contrary and reprimanding memo, which relegated the implementation of the SHS authority as a misuse of power. "It is very disheartening that the OOUSUG SHS decided to use the constituted power in their selfish disposal to actualize their selfish interest and silence everyman making laws that will improve the welfarism of the Students." CampusMirror cited from the CEC memorandum.
The Memorandum also annulled the impeachment of the General Secretary, Senator Marvie and requested her continuity.
To be continued....
