Fashion serves as a powerful tool of self-expression and confidence building among Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) students. Students across various levels and departments see fashion as a means of expressing themselves through a symphony of colors, fabrics, and styles.
OOU students are known for their great fashion sense. Not all dress satisfactorily on campus, but the majority's sense of fashion will leave you enthralled.
Notably, departmental dress codes vary, ranging from mandatory uniforms to relaxed, personal choices. Yet, their sense of style is still evident in their neat and acceptable dress. The Law Students Society (LSS) is distinguished by its iconic white and black attire, exemplifying a style that seamlessly aligns with the campus aesthetics. Though not all the Legal Juganot dresses are appealing, however, the majority are impressive, swaying overall opinion in their favour.
When we talk about dressing and fashion generally in OOU, the Mass Communication students cannot but make this list. The Media Mavericks are one of the students on the OOU Campus who communicate through their satisfying fashion sense. However, why most of them dress corporate and formal most of the time is because some laid down rules violate indecent dressing in the department, which has made the Communicators stand out in their appearance.
In this conversation, you don't want to leave the Mother of all faculties outside the list. Some of us might find this shocking or funny, but the truth is students from the Faculty of Education also dress highly fashionable and appealing. The fact that the majority do not care about how they appear on campus has made people always leave the 'Tutors' out of the conversation when talking 'fashion.'
Some other students from departments like Political Science, Microbiology, Physics, and other departments in the Faculty of Administrative and Management Sciences (FAMS) also make a significant impact on the campus fashion scene.
