SUG MEETS MANAGEMENT TO ADDRESS STUDENTS CONCERNS

THE Students' Union Government (SUG) has met with the school management and faculty stakeholders to address issues raised by students, today, September 23.

According to a press release shared through the Union's official X page, several student concerns were addressed, including the state of lecture rooms, availability of equipment for practical work, health center services, hostel conditions (specifically bed bug infestation at Bvers), and library services.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Johnson Agboola, therefore responded positively, outlining plans to enhance the learning environment. Measures discussed included installing billboards in lecture rooms and conducting campus inspections for necessary improvements. The importance of maintaining practical work equipment was also emphasized.

The VC assured the SUG that the bed bug infestation at Bvers would be treated as an emergency. He also promised to find solutions to issues faced by students using the e-library.

The press release also mentioned that the resumption date for the new session will be announced shortly by the school management.
