The OOU Student Union Government (SUG) has issued a stern warning to students against any actions that may disrupt academic activities on campus, regarding the 200-level tuition fee increment.
According to the memorandum circulated in the late hours of October 31, the Union expresses concern over attempts to incite protests related to the recent 200-level fee hike.
The memo reads in part: "Our attention has been drawn to an attempt to incite students to disrupt academic activities on campus. As a Union, we unequivocally condemn such actions and reaffirm our commitment to maintaining a peaceful and safe environment for all students.
"The SUG is currently in discussions with the school management to address the fee increase and is taking a firm stance against any individuals who may threaten the peace of the student community.
"Any individual attempting to jeopardize the peace and tranquility of our students' community will face disciplinary action," the memo reads.
