The Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Students’ Union Government (SUG) has announced the upcoming commencement of registration for all student associations and student-owned vehicles.
According to the memorandum circulated by the Union in the late hours of Saturday, March 22, this exercise will be conducted in collaboration with the Chief Security Officer (CSO), the Dean of Student Affairs, and the Students' Union Government.
"This registration is mandatory, as it is in line with the University's students code of conduct. And the importance of this is to ensure proper documentation, security, and effective coordination of our university.
"Associations are expected to comply to maintain their official recognition, while students with personal vehicles must complete their registration to ensure seamless movement on campus," the memo reads.
While the exact commencement date for the exercise has not yet been announced, students and associations are advised to remain alert for further updates, as the Union assures that detailed information regarding the registration procedures will be communicated in due course.
For additional inquiries, concerned students and association representatives are encouraged to reach out to the OOUSUG.
