With plenty of rain, the soil has drowned!

Water stole the show; it compels every passerby to look upon it.

Mildly satisfying my sight-seeing quest, in this local space.

I despise not the days of its little beginnings—this could be Maldives someday, alas! we’d never get to dive.

What do I despise? the thousands of toads

Croaking relentlessly, I’m displeased by their ugly harmony

I wonder if they ate empty barrels, because damn! they make the loudest noise.

Say this to them on my behalf: Examinations are here; we need some quiet to study.Pe
