The Social Sciences Students Association (SOSSA) has witnessed a unique electoral outcome as all candidates for the Central Executive Council (CEC) offices emerge winners without facing any opposition.
The election which was originally scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 22, 2024, did not proceed as planned due to the absence of opposing candidates for each position. Consequently,all contestants automatically assumed their respective offices without a single vote being cast.
The Electoral Chairman, Gbadebo Precious, popularly known as Senator Presco while speaking at the election ground made decision to save time and resources and declare all candidates winners, sparing the students of the faculty from casting votes in the absence of alternative choices.
The newly appointed members of the SOSSA CEC are:
PRESIDENT -Senator Samson Ajayi

GENERAL SECRETARY – Jimoh Lucia (Ceeyah)
FINANCIAL SECRETARY -Zayyad
ASST. GENERAL SECRETARY -Olapade Olasupo
SPORT SECRETARY – Adebeshin Moruf (Murphy)
SOCIAL DIRECTOR -Ayodeji (Mdollars)
WELFARE DIRECTOR – Lateefah (Teefah)
PRO -Tolani
LIBRARIAN- Olajire Emmanuel
