President elect, Miss Adeyemi Adenike who emerged first Basic Medical Science Students’ Association (BAMSSA) female president can be described as epitome of bravery, having contested with some male gender without any inferior intimidation.
Adenike was a student of Gateway Polythenic Igbesa where she started her political ambition. Getting into another new school she literally got ground by observing and making beneficial friends that are in same view at hers. Hence, she contested when she was at her finals, she went for it and got it.
Her view about women involvement in politics is that student politics is a platform to relay the mind of student like you and I to necessary office after one have been empowered by them, that it is better to start a platform for female to show their female prowess.
Adenike love for general welfares and a platform to impact lot of people with her love for humanity, promoted her desire for contesting.
She also see her victory as an orchestration of God and. as a reality for a long craved dream to serve, since she can now reach out to a lot of people than people, know what the problem is and get a solution almost easily as a powerful influencer that she is.
Her plan is to move BAMSSA to a better place, allowing God take lead she will tackle the pressing issues like welfares of student, allowing any student involve in any positive thing and not segregating anybody.
She advised every student that irrespective of whatever situation they find their selves, they should spread love among each other, they should believe in their leader and give their loyal support. Also they should remember to be selfless in service as well.
