The OOU Students’ Union Government has unveiled an Inter faculty essay and debating competition which is scheduled to take place on the 8th of August 2019 and the prize promises to be significant.
According to the union officials, the essay has been designed to have all faculties across all campuses of the University to participate.
In an interview with the OOU SUG Vice President 1, Adeleke Abike-ade she revealed that the essay would be in three (3) stages and each candidate would be representing his/her faculty.
It was further revealed that the prize has not been decided yet but the SUG executives are working towards making it a significant prize.
The topic for the essay is “Students’ Unionism And State Governance: A Catalyst To Restore Educational Sector In Ogun State”.
The deadline for application is on 31st of July 2019.
