STUDENTS DON’T HAVE THE RIGHT TO THE BREAKDOWN OF SCHOOL FEES- OOU VC

 In a new development, the Vice- Chancellor of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Professor Ayodeji Agboola has made it public that the students including the students Union leaders have no right to know the break down of tuition fees. 

During a rescheduled meeting on Wednesday, 27th December, 2023 between the school management and students concerning the increment in school fees. He said “Students have been paying the fees before now, why do they want to know the breakdown all of a sudden.” 

Faculty presidents and representatives present in the meeting are invited to discuss the preferred increase percentage that should be added to the tuition fees for 2023/2024 session. 

Here’s the proposal made by each faculty representatives;  

Faculty of social science agrees to 20% increase. 

Faculty of Law agrees to 30%

Faculty of Agriculture agrees to 20%

Faculty of Administration and Management Sciences (FAMS) proposed 20% increase

Faculty of Arts suggestions to 20% increase 

Faculty of Education recommend 15% increase
