A church program themed “Unforgettable Experience” which was organized by Believers’ Loveworld, also known as Christ Embassy on Friday, March 22nd, 2024 has proved to be an unforgettable experience as students were beaten by rain and still didn’t receive any palliatives as promised.
The event which took place at OOU Sports Center, PS, Ago Iwoye promised so many things such as; Scholarships, food palliatives to 2,000 students of OOU, raffle draws with 1,000 (students) winners, and many more.
Reports had it that some students run at a loss as some phones developed faults due to rain without a canopy, some fainted, and some had to find their way home in the night of 11pm.
Students showed their displeasure and grievances, as Tunmise, a Social Studies Education student says “These people have made us lose trust in the SUG or whatever innovation they are bringing, because we queued for hours to register, waiting for the program to finish, and then realized it was a prank all along, It is so painful.
Another student, Ayomide said, “After everything, someone still had to trek from PS to Mini Campus around 11:55 pm. Yesterday has left an imprint on my heart, it is the day I will never forget”, he said.
