After the successful announcement of OOU SUG Presidential Elections that installed Senator, Awoyemi Oluwabunmi (Sen.Pablo), a Student of political science and former SUG Senator, as the Union President, the President-Elect has promised to make OOU students proud.
Pablo who was announced winner around 6am on Wednesday morning after the results for all campuses were collated in Ago-Iwoye main campus, hinted that he expected to win.
On becoming the President Elect, Pablo expresses his joy, says “I feel great about it. I was expecting to win the day I declared but I wasn’t expecting it to be as tough as this”
It would be recalled that at the last Elections Manifesto held on Monday, Pablo also enjoyed Victory, having scored 86%.
In Spite of Raging accusations of Election Malpractice, Pablo reckons that “If we are to judge irregularities, I don’t know, but from my Constituency, there’s is no irregularity”.
