The Olabisi Onabanjo University has set Monday July 8th, 2018 as date to re open course registration portal for new and returning students for the 2019 Rain semester.
There has been speculations whether or not the University will open the portal in recent weeks.
However, a notice reportedly issued by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Professor Deji Agboola said that the portal will be opened on Monday.
The Students’ Union President, Akinbo Afolabi (Kempes) also confirmed the development in an interview with Campus Mirror on Friday. According to him, the union has been able to present tangible reasons why the portal should be re-opened to the management. Hence, the reason for the re-opening.
In a separate interview on Saturday, the Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr. Oladunjoye also confirmed the report.
“The University Senate has approved that portal be re-opened on Monday”, he told Campus Mirror.
